I orders trays of their broasted chicken and lumpia for our family parties. The chicken is tender, crispy, and not oily. Always a hit and the lumpia is tasty and reliable. Prices are great and it's run by the cutest Filipino grandma and grandpa. I'm sure that other dishes are good as well so we will have to try them and leave additional reviews. Speak slowly and be patient. I promise you it's worth it. To go only as their indoor dining is closed. Cash only.

Had a party on a Sunday and the only place I could get Lumpia was this place and thank god they were open! Plaza is small but doesn't get as busy so parking won't be an issue. Plus they have other businesses around like a boba place to get your fix in. I've never had them so I ordered a 12 piece to try them and lord. It's probably better than the prior Lumpia place I use to go to. I was also looking at ALJX's review and it convinced me to order with them. Told the owner I needed a small tray (75 pieces) for Sunday 4:45pm and she happily assisted me and told me that would be okay. (Because on Sunday's they close at 5pm) I had just paid my 12 pieces and order with cash and it was all up front. Came in to pick it up and it was ready to go. Everyone at the party really liked it was well and tbh, will probably order from them again.

Loved my experience with Maharlika! I read many reviews that said getting ahold of the restaurant via phone was impossible so i dropped in to order. Ordered 150 pieces of lumpia for a party later in the day - but forgot to bring cash... the owner said she couldnt start cooking the lumpia until i paid so to return a little bit earlier than i wanted the lumpia cooked. I arrive at the specified time and paid and the lumpia was already done! The owner said she ended up cooking them anyways because she trusted i would come back. They are a small restaurant, limited decorations and no seating. Also noting - THE LUMPIA WAS SO GOOD! I didnt even get a photo becausw everyone at my party ate them so fast! 10/10 would recommend this family owned restaurant! I will definitely be coming back.

Broasted chicken is all you need to know! Maharlika specializes in the pressured frying technique and serves up huge platters of these pressure fried chicken. They offer platters of different sizes but everytime we've ordered, we get the biggest one and indulge in the leftovers afterwards. They're great for parties, but please make sure to call ahead and be on time for your pick up! This mom and pop store is a small operation, so give them ample time to prepare and show them the love! Aside from chicken, they also serve up lumpia and other traditional Filipino dishes. They also have combos for folks looking for a quick lunch or snack without breaking the bank. On our last visit, we ordered a lot of their chicken with lumpia. It was almost too much for me to carry by myself to the car so the shop owner offered their cart to help me bring out the food. Their service is great and very welcoming. The parking lot can get a bit hectic as this small little mall has a few local favorites for meals and snacks including Maharlika. The spots are tight but if all else fails, there is additional street parking just around the corner. We haven't had much issue finding parking but I'd imagine the peak dinner hours on the weekends can get a bit much. Overall, if you're craving for Filipino cuisine or have never tried broasted chicken, you need to make your way here to Maharlika! The crispy texture and tasty chicken meat will have you salivating for more. Eat them fresh or rebake them in your oven or air fryer for leftovers. Some of the pieces can include a big piece of bone with your meat, almost like a chicken lollipop so be wary when biting into one of these yummy goodness - I know it's hard to wait!

I've been looking for a simple, tasty, and crispy fried chicken - I must say I think this is my favorite chicken place. The broasted chicken was so good; honestly it reminds me of like my childhood when my grandma would make me fried chicken - anyways, it was juicy and crispy, and just soooo good. fyi this place is cash only (:

Solid place for ordering Broasted Chicken and lumpia trays. You cannot compete with the prices. If you're ordering any other trays for food it's best to give them at least a couple weeks lead time. If not, especially for orders with meat, they may not be able to accommodate your order. Speaking for experience here. I'm not gonna lie, the first time I went in the man there was kinda off putting, and it made me question if I should go somewhere else. So if he's there there and he seems kind of... "stern" or "dry"... shrug it off. He's cool. We all got an Uncle like that lol. Once you start talking to him, it dissipates. The woman (I've only seen her once on the weekend) was like the nice Tita. She's even insisted I use their cart to bring my orders to the car. (Idk if only Filipinos are gonna understand this all haha). They have odd hours, so you have to plan accordingly. Cash only. They have combo specials which are based on what's available. It is worth mentioning: it looks to be an older Filipino couple that runs the show. Take it for what it is and how they are: Truth be told- You will probably have to go in to make your orders (which I have every time) on some "old school" type stuff. I've seen them answer the phone, but you can tell they conduct business mostly in person.

Here for the lumpia Shanghai! 100 piece tray and two item plate (broasted chicken and adobo with rice for me) = $45. Amazing taste and value. Also the sweetest family running the place. A real community gem. Cash only. Takeout only.
